There are lots of wildflowers and birds, including the red kite, to observe around the farm. At different times of the year, visitors may come across sheep, young cattle and if you're lucky, a blue heron. We grow organic vegetables and soft fruit. There are apple trees and we are now proud of our new pear and peach tree. Our home-made bread, marmalades, jams and preserves add a fresh country flavour to breakfasts which use local organic produce whenever possible.
There are 45 acres of meadow-land to explore. The ponds are a restful place to sit by. In the summer swallows dive and dip over the tranquil water. We have planted dogwood, viburnum and mountain ash among other shrubs and trees to encourage wild life. Visitors are welcome to ramble around the farm and may even be accompanied by two friendly dogs, eager to show the way.
